after more or less a 4 year break, i recently started to produce magazine drawings again. they run outside of most of the things i do, and you can only purchase them through my etsy-shop.

they are really cheap, and i feed new drawings into the site continously. i also offer custom made drawings (let's talk).

fresh from the workshop: the throne. built from wood used in the installation at kunstverein buchholz, jan-feb 2012. life-size and all. to be used in upcoming shootings, and, erm, as a throne.

alex diamond goes royal. 

p.s.: and just so there is no confusion: this is not meant to be the throne of alex diamond. it's a throne built by alex diamond to be used by others. I will invite several people to take a seat, and then make photos thereof. coming soon.

along with a bunch of other fine illustrators/artists, I've been asked to contribute an illustration to a moleskine notebook, published for the tenth anniversary of "startcocial", a public institution supporting outstanding social projects in germany. each of the illustrations was tied to a special social engagement that has been awarded an annual price by "starsocial" in the past 10 years. 

currently residing in hamburg, it was quite quite an honor being able to pick VIVA CON AGUA. if you haven't heard of them yet, check the link - the third world needs more water wells.

"stories from the sub-basement of fluff, feat. Taesch Diamond" and "stories from the sub-basement of fluff, feat. Betty Diamond", are new works created around the end of 2011, combining photography & collage, spraypainting & grinding, acryllics and ink on 70 x 100 cm large woodblocks. This gallery (link) shows both works as well as some work-in-progress footage.

Until february 12, these works are exhibited as part of the show at Kunstverein Buchholz/Nordheide:
