exhibition at kunstverein buchholz opening jan 15!

on january 15, we'll be opening the next exhibition with THE ALEX DIAMOND MINING COMPANY - at the renowned KUNSTVEREIN BUCHHOLZ! this is big news, and trust me, the exitement about this is huge. there have been very big names at the Kunstverein Buchholz in the past years, and amongst the more recent ones are the likes of BOXI, BRAD DOWNEY and Till Gerhard, all-time favourites here in the mines ... 

there are currently some brand new works emerging from the studio, works that have multiple layers and combine spraypainting, photography/collage, wood carving, painting and drawing. don't wanna reveal too much at this point, but these last weeks were full of planning, material tests, and fantastic shootings in an incredible location with only the most beautiful and amazing diamond-girls ... here are a few detail shots from the work in progress.

now all photos are taken and the selection for a large format collage are being developed as I write down these words ... will upload some of the photos later to the photo-section of this site. 

the first work (70 x 100 cm) is ready and posted below. the big one (210 x 200 cm) is under construction. this will take a bit. 

more: GUDBERG Verlag & the Kunstverein will publish a book about the wood work, from mid 2010 till today.
